He Will, But Will You?

Updated: Jan 15, 2021

I wonder what the believer is waiting for to demonstrate the power of God. We have been re-created in his image, we have his authority should we decide to walk in it, and we have the power of the Holy Spirit within us.

If that was not enough, we have all the scriptures that tell us to go set people free, preach the good news, and be ambassadors of Christ. These are not suggestions, they are commands from the Lord of Lords and King of Kings, who says what he hears from God the Father.

Jesus even said:

JOHN 14:12-14 “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father. Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it."

We see and know that God is faithful, but the believer is often unfaithful to do God's will. So the questions is, since God will demonstrate his power, will you be one who believes, steps out, and sees his power set people free?
