Know & Expect

One essential trait that separates the effective believer from the defeated disciple is the knowing and the expectation that he has what he says now. He will have what he says! Period! He also has renewed his mind to the Word of God to the point that he has conquered carnal emotions and the old nature. He functions only in the truths of God.

Faith Is The Manifestation

Some believers say that once they have prayed they are now “waiting for the manifestation” (appearance, indication) of what they are believing for. However, scripture tells us that faith is the substance and the evidence right now:

HEBREWS 11:1 Now faith is the substance [guaranteed agreement, title-deed, under a legal standing] of things hoped [expected, with pleasure] for, the evidence [proof, what has been proved through testing] of things not seen.

Therefore, to be effective believers, we must know that we have the guarantee and the proof. Faith is the manifestation. Unwavering faith is knowing we have received what we believe and that what we believe is becoming right now:

MARK 11:22-24 And Jesus answering said unto them, Have faith in God. For truly I say to you, that whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed, and be cast into the sea and does not doubt [waver, discern, judge, distinguish various options], in his heart, but believes that those things which he says come to past [lit: become]; he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say unto you, What things so ever you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

Faith Is Now

The scenario to play in our mind is that we always win. When we minister, we do not entertain the possibility of having to wait for the results. Rather, we expect to have immediately what God has already given us. Likewise, when we do what he’s commanded us to do, we expect his immediate results. We demand an immediate response when we cast out demons. We demand an immediate response when we set people free. We demand an immediate response when we speak life to our physical bodies. It pleases our Father when we trust his Word so much that we shamelessly persist and expect (see LUKE 11:5-13).

You will have what you expect. Either you expect things in the future or now. If you have been expecting things in the future, then why now change the timeline and expect it now. You will get a lot more done. Therefore, we have decisions to make as to what we expect in our lives. Decide what the outcome is going to be in every situation you face. You marshal around demonic activity and cause it to stop. You speak and command the end results. You never give ground to the enemy:

JAMES 5:16 The prayer of righteous man is empowered [energized through an operative into action] and prevails [embodied strength that engages the resistance and overcomes] much.

Settle it that you will have what you go after. The facts you see is not the way things ends if you enforce God’s truths (see section Enforce His Sovereignty).

Mature Quickly

As you lay hold of the abundant life that Christ Jesus has provided, you will go after the greater works promised by Jesus:

JOHN 14:12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.”

As a new creation in Christ Jesus, don’t limit yourself. In an act of your will, by faith in the Name of Jesus, chose to:

Renew your mind quickly to be transformed beyond your years
Respond to thoughts immediately and take control over your soul (mind, will, emotions)
Command your brain to function properly, quickly, and clearly to support your renewed soul
Command your physical ability and your entire body to keep up and be healthy
Release life on everything you touch and whatever touches you; leave a trail of the Spirit of Life

You Get What You Believe

Jesus showed by example and also provided in us everything we need to live right now in full assurance, unshakeable, and untouchable. Based on how you live your life in Christ Jesus, the devil knows whether or not to be afraid of you. Faith is not what you say but what you believe. As you face situations, you will either have pure faith in the Name of Jesus or you will have faith mixed with doubt. Doubt is belief or faith in the devil’s ability. According to the scriptures below, you will have what you believe:

PROVERBS 23:7 …as he thinks [calculates, reckons] in his heart, so is he.

MATTHEW 12:24 (Jesus said) For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

MATTHEW 21:21-22 And Jesus answered them, “Truly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt [waver, discern, judge, distinguish various options], you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen. And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.”

Approach every situation with the victory already won. For example, when you approach people, be bold and tell them, “God is going to set you free right now!” Don’t have a cop out mentality that says, “Let’s pray and see what God does?” Get to the point where the Word is so true to you that you do not recognize the possibility of failure. Any failure should surprise you.

Take Dominion And Be Fruitful

Knowledge puffs up unless you use it for good. Commit to God’s mandate to have dominion and be fruitful. Destroy the works of the devil and bring life to this world.

1 CORINTHIANS 8:1 … Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up.

1 JOHN 3:8 …This is why the Son of God was revealed, to destroy the works of the devil.

1 JOHN 10:10 The thief comes only that he might steal and might kill and might destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.

1 JOHN 4:17 ...as he [Jesus] is so also are we in this world

EPHESIANS 6:12 …we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.

ISAIAH 54:17 No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn [act wickedly against]. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from ne,” Says the Lord.

Chose the end result, have a command presence, and stay steadfast. Get narrow minded to where you only agree with God’s Word. Put blinders on that keep you focused on God’s Word so you don’t waiver nor get distracted by the surrounding lies. Enforce God’s sovereignty, which is his Word. His Word is settled, so settle it in you. Do and expect now! Know the Father and be like Christ Jesus!
